Business email that makes your store's emails land

Order confirmations and your own mailboxes from your domain — not store+123@shopifyemail.com. We set up the mailboxes and, where your platform allows it, the sending records your store needs — then check them until every one is green.

What we set up for you

Your mailboxes need three records; where your platform can send from your domain, its own emails need up to two more. We prepare them all for your domain — and, depending on where your DNS lives, either write them for you or hand you the exact rows and check them.

  • MX

    MXyour mailboxes

Points your domain's incoming mail at your new mailboxes — hello@, orders@, support@ on your own domain, hosted in the UK.

  • SPF

    SPF

One TXT record naming our mail servers as allowed senders for your domain; where your platform needs its own include (BigCommerce, for example) it goes into the same record, because a domain may only have one.

  • DKIM

    DKIM

Our signing key for mail sent from your mailboxes, so receivers can prove it really came from you. Your platform's own signing keys are separate rows (below).

  • DMARC

    DMARCp=none first

A single _dmarc TXT starting at p=none so nothing is blocked while reports come in. A domain may carry only one DMARC record. If you already have one we tell you before checkout and give you a single merged record to use (on the DNS-with-us path we merge it for you). After 30 days, once your reports show your mailboxes and your platform passing, we guide you to p=quarantine. Shopify's own authentication flow does not add this record — we do.

  • CNAME

    Your platform's sending records

Shopify, for example, issues a store-specific set of authentication CNAMEs that must be copied from your Shopify admin — add every row it shows you. Without them Shopify rewrites your order emails to store+123@shopifyemail.com.

Three honest paths — we pick yours automatically

How the setup works

Where your DNS lives decides how much we can do without you. Checkout looks up your domain's nameservers and tells you which of these three you are on before you pay.

1
Fully automatic0 clicks for your mail records

Your DNS is with us

Your domain is registered or transferred here, or its nameservers point to us. We write MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC directly in your zone; where your platform issues store-specific records you paste them once from its admin and we add them for you.

Which one am I?You bought the domain from us, or you moved its nameservers to ours.
2
One click — coming1 click (coming)

Domain Connect provider

GoDaddy, IONOS, Cloudflare, 123-Reg, NameSilo, Plesk and WordPress.com support Domain Connect. We are publishing our record template with them; until it is live at your provider you get the guided path and we check every row for you.

Which one am I?Your domain's DNS is managed at one of the providers above — guided until our template is live there.
3
Guided + auto-verifiedcopy + paste — we verify

Everywhere else

Including domains managed inside Shopify, BigCommerce, Wix or Squarespace, and registrars such as Namecheap, Hostinger or Fasthosts. We show the exact records with copy buttons and the path in your provider's panel, then we check your DNS until each row turns green.

Which one am I?Your DNS is edited inside your store platform's admin, or at a registrar without Domain Connect.

We never change DNS inside a platform that offers no API for it (Shopify-managed, BigCommerce, Wix and Squarespace domains are edited only in their own dashboards). On those, path 3 is the honest answer — you paste, we verify.

Four steps before you pay

Connect your store

This is how checkout will work: tell us the platform, type your domain, see which path you are on, and preview the exact records — before choosing a plan.

Platform by platform

What your platform needs

Each platform sends order mail differently, keeps DNS in a different place and exposes a different amount to automation. Here is the honest one-liner for each.

Shopify

guided · auto-detect coming

Order emails come from your domain only after authentication — otherwise Shopify rewrites the sender to store+123@shopifyemail.com. Shopify offers no mailboxes of its own.

Records
The authentication CNAMEs Shopify shows you (copy all of them) + one DMARC TXT
DNS lives
Shopify admin (manual) or your registrar
We can
Write records where your DNS allows, verify everywhere; store auto-detect via Connect is coming

WooCommerce

your SMTP relay

Sends through wp_mail() or the SMTP relay you configure. Point your SMTP plugin at your new mailbox and shop mail is signed by our DKIM and covered by our SPF — ask UK-based support first if you send more than a few hundred order emails a day.

Records
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC (ours) — extra records only if you keep a third-party relay
DNS lives
Your host or registrar
We can
Records by your DNS path; you type the site domain

BigCommerce

guided

Platform mail is DKIM-signed by BigCommerce; your SPF needs include:_spf.bigcommerce.com. DNS lives on BigCommerce nameservers and is edited in the admin.

Records
MX, DKIM, DMARC (ours) + SPF with the BigCommerce include
DNS lives
BigCommerce admin (manual, no API)
We can
Show the rows, verify until green; you type the store domain

Wix

mailboxes only

Wix Stores order emails always come from Wix's fixed address — only the sender name changes — so what you get from us is the mailboxes (hello@, support@). Wix Email Marketing can authenticate your domain with per-account CNAMEs.

Records
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC (ours); Wix marketing CNAMEs optional
DNS lives
Wix dashboard if Wix-managed (manual), else your registrar
We can
Records by DNS path; no store connection needed

Squarespace

mailboxes + Reply-To

Customer notifications default to no-reply@squarespace.info; a custom From is allowed but unsigned, so we recommend keeping the default From with Reply-To set to your new mailbox. Email Campaigns can verify your domain.

Records
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC (ours); Campaigns CNAME + DMARC if you use it
DNS lives
Squarespace Domains dashboard (manual), else your registrar
We can
Records by DNS path; no store connection needed

Magento / Adobe Commerce

guided on Cloud

Self-hosted Magento sends through your SMTP — ours works. Adobe Commerce Cloud sends via SendGrid: three CNAMEs plus an SPF include issued by Adobe Support (Pro plans).

Records
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC (ours) + SendGrid CNAMEs on Cloud
DNS lives
Your registrar
We can
Records by DNS path; you type the store domain

Shopline

guided

A verified customer-service domain needs 7 records (three DKIM CNAMEs, a DMARC TXT, a bounce-domain TXT + MX pair and a verification TXT) — otherwise mail shows "sent via shoplineemail.com".

Records
Shopline's 7 rows + MX, SPF, DKIM (ours) — merged into one DMARC
DNS lives
Always a third-party registrar (no in-admin DNS)
We can
Rows shown in your Shopline admin; you type the store domain

Ecwid (Lightspeed)

guided

Default sender is notifications@ecwid.com. A custom sender needs a DKIM record and a Return-Path record generated per store in Settings › Notifications — they cannot be pre-computed, so you paste them and we verify.

Records
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC (ours) + Ecwid DKIM and Return-Path rows
DNS lives
Your registrar
We can
Records by DNS path; no mailbox product on Ecwid to migrate from

Etsy · eBay · Amazon

mailboxes only

Marketplaces send all buyer mail from their own domains — no custom sender and no records for order mail. The product here is a professional mailbox on your own domain; on Amazon add it as an Approved Sender in Seller Central.

Records
MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC (ours) only
DNS lives
Your registrar
We can
Records by DNS path; nothing to connect

Frequently Asked Questions

Six questions store owners ask before their email goes live.

Since the Gmail and Yahoo sender rules of February 2024, Shopify only sends order and shipping emails from your own address once your domain is authenticated. Until then it rewrites the sender to store+123@shopifyemail.com so the mail still passes the receivers' checks. Authentication means adding the store-specific CNAME records Shopify shows you (add all of them) and a DMARC record — which Shopify's own flow leaves to you. We add both alongside your mailbox records.

Yes — on the guided path. Shopify-managed DNS can only be edited in your Shopify admin (Settings › Domains › Manage DNS); there is no API we could use, so we will not pretend to change it for you. Instead we show you every record with a copy button and the exact place to paste it, then check your DNS until each row turns green.

Shopify's forwarding is receive-only. Once your MX record points at your new mailboxes, mail for your domain arrives in a real inbox you can reply from, and Shopify's forwarding no longer applies. Any forwarding addresses you relied on (info@, sales@) become aliases on your mailboxes.

Yes — migration is free from 5 mailboxes and assisted on smaller plans. We copy your folders, sent items and archives across while your old provider stays live, then move the MX record once everything is in place, so nothing is lost in between.

We start you at p=none, which reports but blocks nothing — this matters because an early jump to p=quarantine is one of the common ways Shopify order mail ends up in spam. After 30 days, once your reports show your mailboxes and your platform passing, we guide you to p=quarantine. A domain may carry only one DMARC record. If you already have one we tell you before checkout and give you a single merged record to use (on the DNS-with-us path we merge it for you).

It provisions your mailboxes, builds the record set for your platform and your domain, works out which of the three setup paths you are on from your nameservers, writes the records where it can (path 1) or hands them to you with copy buttons (path 3 — and path 2 until its one click is live), then checks your DNS until each row turns green. It never changes DNS inside a platform that has no API for it.

Included in every plan

Every store plan — whichever size or storage — starts with the same email features. The only things that change are the storage and the number of mailboxes.

  • Store sending records prepared & checked
  • Custom domain address
